H. Moser & Cie x Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly  - H. Moser & Cie.

A Very Rare pair: Pierre Gasly on his first project with Moser

Milan has a way of slowing things down, even for someone who lives life at 300 km/h. On a side street not far from the city centre, there’s a café where Pierre Gasly often drops by whenever he’s in town. It’s here, in a corner booth, that we meet to talk about his first-ever collaboration with H. Moser & Cie. The setting seems perfectly aligned with the spirit of the partnership: authentic, intimate, quietly stylish. In a free-wheeling conversation over coffee, Pierre opened up about why he was drawn to Moser and the process of co-creating two Streamliner watches that feel like an extension of his personality.

First things first, what drew you to collaborate with us?
PG
I like brands that dare to be different. When I visited the manufacture in Neuhausen for the first time, it didn’t feel corporate. It didn’t feel cold. It was warm, energetic, like stepping into a family workshop where everyone really cares about what they’re creating. That authenticity resonated to me.
HM
How did you react when you saw the finished watch for the first time?
PG
Honestly, I was blown away! The Streamliner is so refined, but it has this subtle sportiness that makes it feel alive on the wrist. The dial is quite different, I think it will catch people’s eyes. The watchmakers I worked with have done an amazing job. For me, it feels like a piece of art. Something you can wear every day but also appreciate on a deeper level.
HM
The dial is quite striking. What inspired that choice?
PG
I’m drawn to warm, understated tones. And this deep brown felt elegant but also modern. It’s a colour that seems sophisticated, without being flashy. To me, it has a timeless quality. Like your favourite leather jacket that only gets better with age!
HM
Why did you choose a tourbillon as the main complication
PG
I find the tourbillon mesmerising. It reminds me of racing because both are about precision, balance and technical skill. Watching it in action feels like watching a perfectly tuned race car in motion.
HM
How do you see the connection between watches, fashion and self-expression?
PG
What you wear says a lot about you, right? I think this is especially true when it comes to watches. It’s that final detail that pulls your whole look together, but it also carries personal meaning. The Streamliner is for someone who doesn’t need to shout to stand out. It’s understated yet bold. That’s the kind of style I’m drawn to, both in my wardrobe and in life.
HM
OK, one final question, Pierre. Can you describe the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly in three words?
PG
Refined. Sporty. Maverick. I hope watch lovers see it as a piece of my personality. A Moser-made extension of me, if you like.

Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly Edition

Pierre wanted the dial to evoke his own personality: deep, subtle, a little mysterious. He personally named its hue Chocolate fumé. This delectable brown contrasts beautifully with the sleek Streamliner case in 5N red gold. Its soft tones meet the case’s sporty architecture, striking a balance that mirrors Pierre himself: a mix of precision and warmth. At six o’clock, a one-minute flying tourbillon sets the rhythm, mesmerising in its movement. Inside, the HMC 805 automatic calibre beats with a double hairspring. Paired with a chocolate-hued rubber strap, this version blends sportiness with refinement. A watch that’s personal and uncompromising. Just like Pierre. (Limited to 100 pieces)
