To do what hasn’t been done. To challenge the status quo. Like F1 drivers, engineers and mechanics, we push one another to exceed expectations. And so we’ve created a pairing that embodies our alliance. A fusion of high horology and state-of-the-art technology. Let’s take a closer look at our dream duo—the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition and the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition—with a particular focus on the former.

A dream duo, inspired by the team

Developed together with Alpine Motorsports, these two exceptional creations reflect both sides of the racing story. The Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition, influenced by Alpine’s drivers, houses our first skeletonised chronograph movement. The Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition is a world first: a timepiece engineered specifically for the needs of a Formula 1 team. One is rooted in tradition; the other is a digital marvel. Here, we’re going to give you the inside track on the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition.

Crafted for the crew

Formula 1 is more than just what happens on track. It’s what happens in the paddock, the pit lane, and the garage. Every gesture, every call, every split-second decision matters. Racing is a symphony of precision, performed by a team in perfect synchrony. That’s why we designed the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition not as a gimmick, but as a real work tool—helping teams communicate faster, streamline operations and shave off those crucial fractions of a second.

Precision, meet purpose

The Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition is like nothing before it. Co-developed with Alpine on a bespoke technological platform, it’s a natural extension of the team’s workflow. Clear messages, instant access to critical data, flawless synchronisation—right on your wrist. At rest, the screen is discreet and silent. But when activated, it comes alive with functionality: GMT with country selector, split-seconds chronograph, perpetual calendar, and F1 mode—with countdowns to race starts and live alerts for key moments.

This is a serious device for those who cannot afford to lose a second. But it offers something more: a rare glimpse behind the curtain. With the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition, you’re invited into the heart of the Alpine garage, integrated into team communications and immersed in the rhythms of race day. Curated updates mirror the pulse of the paddock, offering a meaningful, real-time link to the people driving performance behind the scenes. It’s like a portal into the world of Formula 1 mechanics and engineers.

And yet, despite its digital sophistication, the watch retains the soul of a traditional timepiece. A small domed Funky Blue fumé dial displays the time and date, elegantly underscored by our logo in transparent lacquer. Android® and iOS® compatible, it works autonomously and syncs via Bluetooth on demand. The power reserve is built to last: one year in time-only mode, or six Grand Prix weekends in connected mode. Solid, enduring, and anything but disposable, it stands apart from the throwaway tech of today.

The complete package

The Mechanics Edition is also made for Formula 1 fans. The timepiece arrives together, in a single case, with the equally remarkable Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition. While one reflects backstage brilliance, the other channels the drivers’ flair and focus. Featuring our first skeletonised chronograph movement—developed with our partner Agenhor—the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition is the product of direct conversations with Alpine’s drivers. Two V-shaped bridges nod to the triangulated suspension of single-seaters. Flip the watch and you’ll find the movement’s central bridge, shaped like a helmet, honouring those who dare to get behind the wheel. You’ll also spot the rotor, inspired by the Alpine A110’s wheel rim.

In true Streamliner style, the design prioritises clarity and purpose. No subdials. Just central minutes and seconds, pure and uncompromising. With a flyback function for instant resets, it’s a chronograph for those who move fast, think sharp and never pause—unless it’s to check the rear-view mirror.

More than a moment

This duo marks just the start. Our collaboration with Alpine is an endurance race, not a sprint. There’s so much more still to come. But this release draws a decisive line: one of authentic, purposeful and forward-thinking watchmaking. Sold as a pair in a bespoke presentation case, the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition are limited to just 200 sets. The connected model is also available individually to select owners of the Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine in blue or pink, launched in 2024.

Time, driven by teamwork

Success is never the work of one; it’s the result of many. Drivers may take the podium, but behind every victory are the minds and hands of a united crew. At Moser, we see time the same way: as a collective pursuit of perfection. Our collaboration with Alpine isn’t about individual brilliance; it’s about shared purpose. Just like the mechanics who prepare the car, the engineers who decode the data, and the drivers who take the leap, we believe precision thrives in partnership. And these two timepieces are a testament to what can happen when a team moves as one.
