At H. Moser & Cie., we see education as the key to change – a lever that’s strong enough to uplift and empower the world.
Our partnership with Room to Read has been an invaluable way to bring this, our shared vision, to life. Room to Read is an extraordinary global organisation that has benefitted millions of children around the world– by encouraging reading, providing books, and teaching special skills for young girls.
We thought it was about time to share not only our support for the work they do, but to create a real ‘picture’ of the children whose lives have been changed for the better.

We invited two classes of young students (receiving support from the organisation in India and Sri Lanka) to let their imaginations run wild! The students all created beautiful artwork, and two drawings were selected for their exquisite use of colour and design.
The artists, Arif and Kasun, put the same great effort into their artwork as they do in daily life, both in and out of school, and are extremely proud to be a part of this project.
We then commissioned an artist to reproduce the drawings by hand on the dials of two Endeavour Centre Seconds Automatic models. Using tiny brushes and great heart, he reproduced the children’s works as faithfully as possible, capturing their bold use of colour and inventive designs.
The two unique pieces, two Endeavour Centre Seconds Automatic models, were on show at the gala dinners organised by Room to Read in London and in Zurich. Guests had the opportunity to bid for the piece featuring Kasun’s (multi-coloured nature scene) design in London, and Arif’s (swimming elephant) design in Zurich.
Each model features an 18k white-gold case engraved with “Room to Read Unique Piece”. Last but not least, we are delighted to announce that alongside our commitment, Room to Read will dedicate a children’s book in Sri Lanka and a library in India to the respective winners of these singular timepieces.
