The Pioneer Perpetual Calendar MD in steel with Burgundy fumé dial is as mechanically ingenious as it is intuitive to read and adjust. Taking H. Moser & Cie’s award-winning and unique perpetual calendar movement and adapting it for the versatile Pioneer model, the “MD” signifies Month and Date, as both are displayed through adjacent windows on the right side of the fumé dial.

The HMC 808 is a uniquely simple and award-winning manual-winding Perpetual Calendar movement, where the calendar mechanism is an integral part of the movement rather than a modular add-on.

Functions

This perpetual calendar variant features two adjacent windows on the dial to display the perpetual date and month. The date and month can be set forwards or backwards at any time, without risk to the movement.

Bringing light to darkness, Super-LumiNova® is a photo-luminescent pigment used on different elements. After being charged by light, it emits a glow that makes the reading of time possible even when it’s pitch black.
